African Mosaique is the brainchild of Anna
Getaneh, a former acclaimed international
model, a humanitarian and cultural entrepreneur.
Based in Johannesburg it is an international
enterprise that manufactures, promotes and
exports high-end African inspired clothing
and accessories. It does this while celebrating
African fashion, art and culture. It was
inspired by the relatively weak presence
of direct African participation in leading
fashion platforms in Europe and North America.
The seasonal in-house collection uses fabrics
that are sourced from around Africa. These
fabrics both industrial and hand loom are
crafted through techniques new and old,
such as dying, weaving and embroidery and
created into contemporary African inspired
ready-to-wear and couture clothing line.
The boutique also carries the label of other
high-end African Inspired designers |

Sirkel |
Jan Bekker
011 726 2365
|
|
After studying and working in the jewellery
trade for a number of years, Jan Bekker
started Sirkel Jewellery in 2006, inspired
by the idea of making jewellery personal
again. Every piece of jewellery from Sirkel
is handmade; every corner and curve carefully
considered. Most of the pieces are custom-designed
with and especially for individual clients.
Every piece is distinctive and carries the
personal input of its wearer or the person
giving it. All precious metals are used,
including platinum, gold and silver, as
well as wood and plastics. Age-old techniques
are used: this is a conscious choice to
avoid modern mass manufacturing methods.
At Sirkel each piece of work is truly unique. |
